As a non-binary, bisexual cosplayer, it is a mystery how I haven’t cosplayed the God of Mischief Loki until now. While I didn’t immediately fall in love with Loki’s character at the very beginning of the MCU, I did slowly grow very fond of him and Tom Hiddelston’s portrayal of him. With each new appearance, I began to love him more and more. The Disney+ show “Loki” solidified that.

PAX South in San Antonio was the last weekend of January and I’m finally getting around to a recap. It was my first ever PAX and it was a lot of fun! The only cons I have been to in the past couple years have been RTX, so going to PAX South was a little overwhelming. It’s a lot larger than RTX and there are way more people who attended. For Halloween – specifically the Halloween party at work – I wanted to do something recognizable while still being SFW. Lots of my cosplays can be pretty esoteric to people who don’t watch the same shows or play the same games as I do. As luck would have it, a lot of us at the company actually went and watched Avengers 2: Age of Ultron as part of a culture club event when it first came out. I couldn’t really see myself making a low-budget Black Widow in time (and didn’t feel like gender-bending another Avenger) so I went with Wanda Maximoff.
